What to Expect
Our Insurance Coordinator will check on all benefits before your initial consultation.
Here’s what you can expect during your TMS journey:
Before Treatment
– Recline comfortably in the treatment chair.
– The Physician will lightly position a curved coil on your head to find the ideal treatment location specific to you.
During Treatment
-NeuroStar delivers focused magnetic stimulation directly to target areas of the brain.
– You will hear a clicking sound and feel a tapping sensation on your head.
– Treatment last between 19-37 minutes & is administered 5 days a week for approximately 4-6 weeks.
After Treatment
– With no effects on alertness or memory, you can drive yourself to and from treatment.
– Normal activities can immediately be resumed after each treatment
